You Are:

A Business Analyst - Manager with deep, handson experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) to lead critical initiatives across Finance and adjacent enterprise domains. This role is executionfocused today, with an expectation to grow into people leadership responsibilities over time as programs expand.

The role plays a key part in both optimizing the current SAP ECC Finance & Controlling landscape and supporting a planned migration to SAP S/4HANA, while also advancing AIenabled insights and automation across finance processes.

What You'll Be Doing:

Business Analysis & SAP FI/CO Solution Leadership

  • Lead endtoend business analysis for complex Finance initiatives, with direct, handson involvement in SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) processes and solution design.
  • Own requirements and functional design across core SAP FI/CO areas, including General Ledger, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, Controlling structures, allocations, financial reporting, etc.,
  • Translate finance and controllership requirements into clear, systemready functional specifications that can be executed by SAP configuration and integration teams.

SAP ECC Enablement & S/4HANA Migration Readiness

  • Drive business analysis across the SAP ECC Finance & Controlling environment, ensuring solutions are scalable, auditable, and aligned with Synopsys' global operating model.
  • Actively contribute to endtoend SAP implementations, working across blueprinting, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization phases.
  • Support futurestate planning and readiness for SAP S/4HANA, including FI/CO process harmonization, data readiness, functional impact analysis, and migration considerations.
  • Ensure nearterm ECC solutions are designed with the ECC S/4HANA transition in mind and do not introduce technical or process debt.

AI Literacy & Intelligent Finance Enablement

  • Apply strong AI literacy to identify where AI, analytics, and automation can enhance SAP Finance and Controlling processes, controls, and insights.
  • Contribute to use cases such as AIassisted variance analysis, anomaly detection in postings, forecasting support, and intelligent reporting, in partnership with data and engineering teams.
  • Translate AIenabled finance concepts into clear business requirements, value articulation, and governance considerations.

Stakeholder Partnership, Controls & Governance

  • Act as a trusted partner to Finance, Controllership, and IT leadership, facilitating alignment across business priorities, SAP capabilities, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure FI/CO solutions align with internal controls, audit expectations, and SOX requirements, partnering closely with Finance Controls and Internal Audit teams.
  • Provide clear status reporting, dependency management, and risk identification across initiatives with global stakeholders.

Team Growth & Leadership Evolution

  • Mentor and guide other Business Analysts contributing to Finance initiatives, supporting consistency and quality of SAP FI/CO analysis.
  • Help shape future team structure, onboarding, and analysis standards as demand grows.
  • Transition into formal peoplemanagement responsibilities as the organization and portfolio scale.

What You Bring:

Required Qualifications (Strict Requirement)

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Typically requires 10+ years of experiencein business analysis or enterprise systems with significant handson SAP Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) endtoend SAP implementations, with direct involvement across requirements, build, testing, and golive phases.
  • At least one (1) SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration experience, with handson exposure to FI/CO impact analysis, data considerations, and business process changes.
  • Proven experience working directly with SAP ECC FI/CO configuration concepts and finance processes (not just advisory or highlevel oversight).
  • Strong understanding of finance operations, including recordtoreport, controlling, planning support, and compliance.

AI Literacy & Modern Skillset

  • Demonstrated AI literacy-the ability to understand and evaluate how AI and advanced analytics can augment SAP finance processes and decisionmaking.
  • Experience partnering with data, analytics, or automation teams to define AIenabled or insightdriven finance solutions.
  • Comfort working with reporting, analytics, and visualization tools in a finance context.

Leadership & Operating Style

  • Ability to lead through influence and expertise in matrixed, global organizations.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage credibly with Finance, Controllership, and technical teams.
  • Strategic mindset with attention to detail and a strong execution orientation.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting largescale ERP transformations in hightech or engineeringdriven enterprises.
  • SAP FI/CO, S/4HANA, or related certifications.
  • Familiarity with global finance operating models and postmerger integrations.
