GENERAL FUNCTION

The Zone Trainer (ZT) elevates leadership capability and drives consistent execution across stores within assigned zones. This role focuses on coaching Store Managers (SMs), Market Managers (MMs), and Regional Managers (RMs) to improve behaviors linked to customer experience, conversion, and overall business results. The ZT acts as a strategic partner to Zone Vice Presidents (ZVPs) and Zone Directors (ZDs), supporting key initiatives, building capability, and reducing performance variance across stores.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Create behavioral training strategies for company initiative role outs across Zone
  • Coach SMs, MMs, and RMs to close behavior gaps impacting conversion and customer experience.
  • Develop leaders using peertopeer coaching to drive sustainable behavior change.
  • Analyze zone, region and store performance data to identify opportunity areas and create and execute action plans.
  • Facilitate and reinforce company initiatives including RX, SGH Experience, 5 Growth Pillars, and new initiatives.
  • Support execution of monthly Leonardo (LEO) training and act as a subject matter expert.
  • Partner with ZVP/ZD/HRBP to plan strategies, align priorities, and provide field insights.
  • Conduct highquality store visits with clear followup actions and behavioral expectations.
  • Share best practices and observations during weekly zone calls and calibration sessions.
  • Travel throughout assigned zone(s) to deliver consistent coaching and execution support.
  • Maintain high standards of communication, followup, and documentation of store visits.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Learning, Training, or Retail Leadership
  • Experience in a training role responsible for delivering content in classroom, small group, and one-to-one settings preferred
  • Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong business acumen skills with understanding of retail KPIs and behaviors that drive performance
  • Ability to create strategies and action plans to drive results
  • Knowledge and experience in a retail commissioned sales environment
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and influence skills without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • Experience facilitating training, coaching sessions, and capabilitybuilding activities.
  • Comfort working in a highly dynamic, changedriven environment.
  • Ability to travel 50% of time
