Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Fremont, CA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Provides engineering support mainly execution of requests accurately and communication of outcomes for customer process demonstrations or internal projects.
  • Determines appropriate sample preparation technique and prepares samples for projects including wafer cleaving, coating, mounting/unmounting and assembly of wafers.
  • Modifies process recipe formulations and executes processing requirements on client's proprietary tools.
  • Determines appropriate metrology method needed while taking into consideration the image quality requirements and feature of interest for the inspection of the cleaved as well as whole wafers and executes requests under optimal imaging conditions on the metrology tools such as thin film ellipsometers, SEM tools after training.
  • Implement process monitoring for different tool sets, compiles and evaluates test data to compare to appropriate process limits or materials specification.
  • Interface with cross functional teams for troubleshooting, assist with tool performance checks and general clean room lab operations.
  • May provide informal guidance and support to junior team members.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $22.78 - $38.32/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp (12 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with sample preparation, SEM imaging/relevant microscopy work.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Electronics or Chemistry or Mechanical or Biology or Materials Science.
  • Technical Certificate.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects, comfortable working with different web applications to log data and communicate effectively.
  • Foundational communication skills, reading and writing, in English.
