Temple University's Institutional Advancement Department is searching for a Coordinator, Advancement Events!

Salary Range: $35,600 - $45,000
A variety of important factors are reviewed by HR when considering salary, including job duties, the applicant's education and experience, all relevant internal equity considerations, department budget, and funding source.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director, Advancement Events, the Coordinator, Advancement Events will provide a high level of organizational and operational support to the Advancement Events team, with an emphasis on event operations, event attendee management and reporting, and event preparation. These operations are vital to the success of Advancement Engagement and Institutional Advancement and support the work of the Advancement Events team. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Details
* This position requires the following background checks: Cash Handling/Personal Identifiable Information background check.
* Must be available on nights, early mornings, and weekends when needed.

Required Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree.
* At least two (2) years of directly related experience in alumni relations, special events, and/or higher education.
* Strong project management experience, including creating and monitoring project schedules, deadlines and deliverables and holding team members accountable.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience
* Must be able to work extended hours and weekends.
* Experience using fundraising databases and calendaring/organizational tools.

Required Skills and Abilities
* Excellent written and verbal skills.
* Proficient in MS Office suite and fundraising databases.
* Excellent organization skills and ability to keep multiple projects moving forward simultaneously.
* Ability to perform special projects with minimal supervision.
* Ability to establish and maintain operational systems and procedures and ensure adherence to the same.
* Ability to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations and with a diverse group of individuals.
* Results-oriented, facts-driven, with high energy and drive, a positive attitude and excellent listening and communications skills.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
