We carry over one million industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs. We are constantly increasing our product offerings to meet the diverse and changing needs of our customers. Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America.

Key Responsibilities

* Proactively reach out to smaller existing accounts to identify new business opportunities
* Grow business by uncovering, managing, and closing opportunities
* Create awareness of the Global value proposition and Global Exclusive Brands and products.
* Effectively develop and manage your sales plan by setting daily/weekly/monthly goals and objectives, prioritizing tasks, utilizing your time effectively and efficiently, and taking full advantage of available resources.
* Deliver exceptional customer experience by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Build trust and credibility with clients by helping customers find solutions for their business needs.
* Provide support, information, and guidance by researching and recommending new solutions.
* Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in Salesforce.
* Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity and pipeline generation targets.
* Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Competencies and skills

* Effective verbal communication skills, e.g. speak clearly, listen attentively, build rapport
* Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings
* Ability to persuade by asking business questions to determine customer needs
* Associate's degree or at least 2 years of inside business to business sales experience
* Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce
* Self-motivated with superior problem solving and negotiation skills
* Effectively prioritize sales efforts and activities
* Excellent organization and time management skills are essential
