Project Manager

About the role:

We're looking for a Project Manager-Level 3 on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will be part of the Early-Stage Solar Engineering & Construction (E&C) team. You will be reporting to the Solar Regional Lead. Primary responsibility is to take ownership of and work independently to manage a portfolio of assigned Solar projects through the Early-Stage process in preparation for turnover to the Construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage technical, commercial, and financial expertise to support and guide the broader team
• towards overall project, team, or corporate targets.
• Analyze technical and financial data, find notable variables, indicators, and trends.
• Daily management of each assigned Solar project is all-encompassing.
• Participate in problem resolution and manage your capital budget through approvals. Develop a viable construction plan and schedule. Negotiate and implement commercial contracts. Investigate optimization opportunities.
• Create, take ownership over, and manage not only each individual
• Solar project capital budget, but balance +/- variances across your portfolio of projects.
• Participate in multiple software applications to support your activities, manage critical data and deliverables and report on key indicators.
• Support the larger Early-Stage team with process, tool, and training projects.
• Communicate and work with Executive Leadership, Suppliers, and Regulatory Agencies,

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering
• Project Management Experience
• Financial and data analysis skillset
• Mechanical awareness or interest in technical variables
• Construction, Energy Industry, or Solar experience

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $40.00/hr. to $45.00/hr.
