Job Function Summary

Supports the development of new technology, demonstrations, products and service pilots and programs supporting PGE's Virtual Power Plant.

Key Responsibilities

Energy Industry Research and Analysis Gathers, calculates, formats and uploads product data to be used by the Product Development team to report energy industry trends; performs research for data requests as needed.

Product Development Planning and Implementation Creates, maintains and distributes a department calendar of regulatory activities, product launches and milestones; designs processes, recommends solutions and develops associated documentation, training and process maps on assigned projects; serves as an implementation resource person providing usage reports to customers, tracking meter installations and reporting progress to vendors.

Resources and Internal Relations Provides project support by scheduling meetings, developing agendas, distributing meeting materials, capturing minutes, tracking assignments and requesting updates for assigned projects and executive steering committees.

Program Budget and Project Status Collects data and reports on the status of all products and services under development; supports project team on budget and payment tracking, budget forecasting, purchase orders, contracting and invoice management.

Vendor Management Finalize and update agreements; scan and send agreements to prospective vendors.

Education/Experience/Certifications

Education Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, marketing, communications or other related field or equivalent experience.

Experience Typically two or fewer years in engineering, product development, project management or related field.
