As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol Day Shifts in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with team members and site personnel, document observations, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points for employees, contractors, and visitors by verifying authorization, supporting sign-in processes, and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing for security-related concerns near packages, conveyors, and dock doors, and reporting suspicious activity or hazards through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
