Job Summary

The Sales Analyst I supports the North American Sales organization by performing foundational analytical work that contributes to accurate and compliant sales reporting. This role applies analytical methods to evaluate sales performance data, identify trends, and support standardized reporting processes. The analyst interprets data results, investigates discrepancies, and provides insights to support reporting and commercial decision making.

Essential Functions
  • Prepare recurring daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports using standardized analytical methods.
  • Extract, validate, and reconcile datasets to produce performance metrics for the sales organization.
  • Maintain and update monthly sales tracking reports to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
  • Support ad hoc data requests by gathering relevant information and building standardized reports and data analyses templates.
  • Provide reporting and administrative support during sales planning cycles by updating tracking tools and developing reports on sales performance metrics by periods and territories.
  • Analyzes sales data to identify trends, patterns and discrepancies across systems.
  • Investigates root causes of discrepancies and recommend corrective actions under guidance from senior analysts or management.
  • Responds to data interpretation questions and collaborates with cross functional partners (e.g., Salse, Finance, Operations) to ensure data alignment.
  • Documents reporting methodologies, analytical processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain organized reporting libraries included but not limited to version control practices and documentation standards.
  • Recommends reporting workflow improvements and participates in testing reporting enhancements.
  • Develop proficiency in reporting tools, data systems, and analytical processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree n Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent coursework/experience
  • 0-2 year of experience in data entry, reporting support, or another analytical or administrative role. required
  • Experience supporting predefined sales or operational reporting cycles.
  • Exposure to CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Demonstrated interest in developing skills in sales analytics and data quality.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and ensure data accuracy.
  • Foundational analytical skills with demonstrated interest in sales reporting and commercial performance metrics.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas); ability to learn additional analytical functions.
  • Ability to learn and navigate CRM and ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage recurring deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for supporting internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, compliance driven environment under general guidance.

The annual salary for this position is:

$60,000.00 to $75,000.00
