The Opportunity

Join our team as a Work Management Power Platform Analyst, where you'll bridge data analysis and development to create impactful reporting solutions. In this role, you'll design dashboards, build automations, and uncover business opportunities through data-all while driving innovation across TC Energy.

What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership & Innovation

  • Champion Power Platform adoption across the organization by continuously expanding your skillset and exploring new tools and data sources
  • Challenge the status quo and encourage colleagues to embrace innovation and new possibilities
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with strong facilitation and communication skills, fostering healthy discussions that drive decision-making
  • Be a forward thinker with a desire to explore, learn, and apply emerging analytics opportunities

Technical Development & Analysis

  • Design and develop dashboards, reports, and advanced analytics that translate complex business needs into actionable insights
  • Analyze complex business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement through data-driven solutions
  • Automate manual processes using Power Automate to improve operational efficiency and free up team capacity
  • Exercise sound judgment in interpreting data, quickly identifying anomalies and deviations that signal potential issues or opportunities
  • Develop technological solutions that support the data needs of analysts throughout the organization

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Partner with internal customers to understand their reporting requirements and translate those needs into effective visualization tools
  • Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring data stories drive action
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships across departments to support organizational goals
  • Gather requirements efficiently through active listening and observation, translating knowledge into appropriate action

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or demonstrated equivalent technical expertise through 3+ years of professional experience
  • Proven experience with Power Automate for task automation and workflow optimization
  • Hands-on expertise with query or programming languages (Power Query, DAX, etc.)
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Dataverse, Office 365, SharePoint)
  • Knowledge of cloud-based reporting solutions and their applications
  • Report writing experience with proven ability to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Strong self-motivation and demonstrated ability to work autonomously on complex projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • Certifications in data analytics, data science, or data management (AWS, Microsoft, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence applications
  • Familiarity with natural gas operations or energy sector business processes
  • Experience with advanced analytics, statistical modeling, or predictive analytics
