Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000

The Home Match Program helps communities meet three important goals: empowering aging community members to stay in their chosen homes; creating affordable places to live; and combating social isolation. We create affordable housing options for our local workforce, retirees and students while simultaneously preventing the displacement and/or homelessness of elders in our community. Job Summary

The Program Director of Santa Clara leads the program in meeting its goals and objectives. This is a new position established to expand the Home Match program into Santa Clara County. Currently, this position will be an individual contributor with established business contacts in Santa Clara County, and will grow the program team. The Program Director will eventually supervise team members, implement strategies to meet grant objectives, and oversee the portfolio of participants. The Program Director must feel comfortable working with a diverse set of individuals, cultures, and circumstances. This job requires flexibility in hours, including occasional evening and weekend work. Work is performed throughout Santa Clara County; required day travel in the Bay Area.

Essential Functions

  • In consultation with the Senior Director, establish and achieve annual program goals and objectives
  • Become an expert in the Home Match program and be comfortable discussing other Community Services programs as well as the Front Porch mission
  • Model a high degree of customer service to funders and participants, responding quickly and professionally to all inquiries
  • Direct, support, and cultivate/mentor staff
  • Develop and implement an outreach plan to promote the program
  • Lead the matching and home-sharing process for a portfolio of program participants
  • Conduct follow-up mediation services as needed, to assist clients in maintaining a successful match
  • Use creativity to determine effective new, online, and offline methods of conducting outreach and engaging with Home Match participants
  • Use online tools to track and analyze program data; ensure all data is entered accurately and in a timely manner
  • Continually seek opportunities to strengthen and/or expand the program and its impact
  • Contribute to the sustainability of the program, working with the organization's Foundation *
  • Oversee program budget
  • Evaluate, implement, monitor, measure, and report on program metrics and grant objectives
  • Occasional evening and weekend work required
  • Other duties as assigned

Credentials:

California Driver's License; clean driving record

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

Essential:

*Bachelor's degree with 4 year's relevant work experience OR 8+ plus years of relevant experience with/without a degree.

Nonessential:

Masters degree

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* 4 Years related program experience and/or training

* 3 Years prior supervisory experience
