Here's what it takes to make yours count.

• Minimum 1 year of industrial or automotive paint experience, or related technical/vocational training
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing instructions
• Strong commitment to quality workmanship, safety practices, and productivity standards
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and safety shoes
• Ability to work in a tobacco-free environment
• Availability for occasional weekend shifts and scheduled overtime
• Demonstrated ability to spray clear coat within the first month of employment
• Lift and move materials up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

What Your Typical Day Will Look Like

• Perform final paint preparation and finishing, including dry sanding, masking, unmasking, stenciling, finish painting, sealing, and touch-up work
• Set up and adjust industrial paint equipment to achieve proper spray patterns and consistent finish quality
• Operate spray equipment while following proper environmental and safety practices during setup, use, and cleanup
• Inspect painted surfaces to identify defects such as runs, sags, dry spray, or orange peel, determine root causes, and perform corrective repairs
• Use plastic fillers such as Bondo or icing compounds to prepare surfaces before final paint application
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support process improvements, prototyping, and fabrication efforts that enhance production efficiency
• Assist with the development and implementation of fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing improvements as needed
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork, mentoring peers, and supporting lean manufacturing practices
• Work closely with teammates to ensure the highest paint quality standards are consistently achieved
