CLA is currently seeking a strategic, innovative Senior Learning Performance Strategist to partner with Assurance and other business leaders, People Solutions (HR), and learning teams to design innovative, scalable programs that align with organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous learning. This role aligns learning programs to business priorities, regulatory requirements, and market trends, enabling professionals to deliver exceptional client service and maintain a competitive edge. How you'll create opportunities in this Senior Learning Performance Strategist role: Performance Consulting & Analysis:
  • Conduct diagnostics across services, industries, and support functions to identify performance gaps.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define performance metrics and analyze data for informed decision-making.
Learning Strategy & Curriculum
  • Design and execute learning strategies aligned with firmwide goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop competency- and skills-based learning paths for professionals at all levels using blended learning approaches.
  • Ensure content is relevant, engaging, and tailored to professional services.
Project Management:
  • Define scope, schedule, and budget for learning projects
  • Coordinate cross-functional planning and monitor risks; escalate to leadership as needed.
Engagement & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure programs meet technical, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Advise on best practices and support change management communications.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on learning solutions that drive employee performance and engagement, business outcomes, and client value.
Measurement & Innovation
  • In conjunction with Learning Operations, define KPIs and use analytics to assess learning effectiveness and business impact.
  • Continuously refine programs based on feedback, metrics, and industry trends.
  • Stay current with trends in digital learning, professional development, and accounting education.
  • Support rollout of performance management systems and tools.
What you will need:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in learning and development or performance consulting.
  • Experience in adult learning principles, assessment and evaluation design, change management, and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business, or related field is required. A combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted.
  • Demonstrable history of professional development in this field.
  • Experience with LXP (360 Learning) and LMS platforms, analytics tools (Power BI), AI, and automation technologies.
Travel Requirements Occasional travel may be required (<10% travel). Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range. The compensation range for this position in Illinois is: $65,100 - $117,000. The compensation range for this position in New York is: $85,300 - $130,000. The compensation range for this position in Colorado is: $70,900 - $117,000. The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is: $76,700 - $126,000.
