General Position Summary:
Reports to the supervisor within the Radiology Support Center and is the first response to users during critical use of clinical applications, such as OR procedures that require imaging or Interventional radiology procedures. Will be responsible for first and second level problem isolation, identification, and follow-through until closure. Logging all calls and escalating issues to the appropriate support team. Work as part of a team to support a 1500+ employee department with a diverse selection of workstations and software products. Demonstrate proficiency in addressing users' issues and provide suitable solutions to problems with PCs and Macs, network connectivity, and other related activities. This individual will be required to install and configure both PC and MAC operating systems, including, but not limited to, MAC OSX 10.6, Windows XP, Windows 7, DOS, and Windows for Workgroups or current generally accepted standards. Performs testing of computers and ensures that computer systems are functioning properly. Install, upgrade and configure network printers. Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose problems. Respond to the needs and questions of users concerning their access to resources on the network.

Required Education:



  • High School diploma required with 3 years experience.
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in a related field or combination preferred. Experience must be in one or more of the following areas: technical
    support, production support, systems or applications analysis, applications programming, LAN or WAN
    technology.


Required Experience:



  • Dependent upon education, a minimum of three years experience in an Information Services environment where the required knowledge base and skills have been utilized.


Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
