The Digital Delivery Services Director leads a consulting team to provide technical solutions regarding digital project delivery and management services for clients in the built environment. The Digital Delivery Services Director is accountable for how digital information for external clients is planned, produced, validated, and delivered across the project lifecycle ensuring consistency, scalability, and measurable business value.




Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities



Digital Delivery Services




  • Acts as lead strategist for complex, enterprise-scale digital delivery engagements.
  • Consults with external clients to unlock business value through digital delivery services
  • Influences and drives innovation in digital delivery solutions by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Represents the organization in industry forums and thought leadership activities to promote its presence in the industry.
  • Ensures alignment and integration between internal BIM production standards, BIM systems governance, and digital delivery execution models.
  • Advises business leadership and consulting teams on digital delivery service proposals to align with scope, fee, risk, and outcomes.
  • Partners with cross-functional leadership to ensure digital delivery governance complements engineering quality, technical standards, and project delivery.



Strategic Leadership & Management




  • Participates in annual internal business planning and strategy sessions to set growth goals.
  • Provides strategic direction to the company around digital delivery solutions, shaping organizational goals, policies, and investment strategies to advance the company's position in the industry.
  • Directs policies, procedures, and standards related to digital delivery solutions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal corporate guidelines and client corporate guidelines.
  • Partners with BIM leadership to align digital delivery workflows, BIM standards, and delivery requirements.
  • Collaborates across the business to eliminate silos and enable consistent delivery practices.



Business Development & Profitability




  • Builds relationships with clients to raise Henderson Companies' profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner.
  • Leverages opportunities and relationships internally and externally to drive business growth.
  • Develops, and maintains strategic relationships to expand business opportunities.
  • Partners with Business Development, Client Experience, and Marketing on client engagement strategies and project pursuits.
  • Participates in client, company and/or industry events to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional leadership to maximize profits and support sustainable growth for the digital delivery service.

  • Manages a team of consultants to support digital delivery services.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team and organization.

Required Education, Experience, Licenses & Technical Competencies




  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in digital delivery solutions or related fields required, or 18 or more years of relevant experience without a related degree
  • Minimum 8 years in a leadership or management role with a proven track record of technical excellence and strategic influence in client facing roles.
  • Relevant experience in providing consultancy services to building owners and operators is required.
  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling new service lines, delivery frameworks, or enterprise delivery systems. Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale digital delivery, BIM, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Exceptionally strong background in BIM operating models, digital delivery governance, and cross-disciplinary coordination.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to advise senior client leadership.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and business acumen.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with excellent storytelling and presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
