Mechanics Bank is currently searching for an Identity Access Governance Analyst to join our team. The Identity Access Governance (IAG) Analyst manages identity governance with a strong focus on Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). The role ensures employee access is provisioned, reviewed, and modified in accordance with defined roles, least privilege principles, and the Bank's access control guidelines. The analyst evaluates access across all systems and partners with IT, Security, and business teams to maintain compliant, scalable access models that support security and audit requirements. What you will do:
Conduct periodic access certifications, role reviews, and recertifications to validate appropriate access and compliance. Collaborate with application owners, vendors, and Bank departments to review access functionality and implement required changes. Review team access assessments and provisioning activities to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards. Design, implement, and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models aligned with business functions. Develop and manage roles, entitlements, and access profiles within IAG platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity). Identify, analyze, and remediate role conflicts, over-provisioning, and access risks. Enforce segregation of duties (SoD) through role design and access policies. Perform quality assurance on Information Security activities, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to timelines. Other related tasks/projects as assigned. Travel Required 0 - 10%.
Who you are:
2 Year Associate degree preferred. 3 years minimum experience preferred. CompTia A+ is preferred. Ability to review and analyze applications user entitlements and processes. Knowledge of the Bank's organizational and job structures. Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation) to result in effective working relationships/great customer service with internal and external contacts. Familiarity with tracking and reporting tools. - Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
