CAFE SUPERVISOR

3% QUARTERLY ATTENDANCE BONUS

HOURLY RATE: $16.00-$17.00 PLUS TIPS

The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is looking for fun and outgoing person to join our team as a full time Cafe Supervisor. We offer flexible work schedules, and for those interested, cross-training in a variety of positions and the opportunity to learn the hotel industry.

As a Cafe Supervisor on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:

• Provide training, development, and supervision of team members.

• Schedule team to ensure adequate and consistent levels of service.

• Maintain inventory and prepare requisitions to replenish supplies.

• Update and maintain all controls, procedures, and checklists.

• Assist guests, take orders, and suggest daily specials.

• Prepare food and drinks.

• Arrange food in pasty case and inform kitchen on items needing to be restocked.

• Wipe spills and maintain cleanliness of all appliances and workspace.

The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:

• Previous experience in similar role.

• Ability to work the hours of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Must be available to work weekends.

• Knowledgeable in preparing lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, and other specialty coffees and teas.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Dependability and regular attendance.

• Must be willing to learn work in other areas of the hotel to assist as needed.

• Must have or be able to obtain food safety handling certificate.
