Job Title: Training Specialist III Location: Rosemead, CA 91770 (Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Pay Range: $37/hr. - $39/hr.
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Training Specialist III to coordinate, develop, and deliver workforce training programs that support organizational learning and development initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the full training lifecycle-from needs assessment and program design to delivery and evaluation-while collaborating with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and external vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in instructional design, training facilitation, and learning technology tools. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs and learning services across the organization.
- Manage the delivery of learning curriculum from needs assessment through design, pilot, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide administrative and operational support for corporate workforce development initiatives.
- Partner with HR, managers, leaders, and senior leadership to assess workforce training needs and support development programs.
- Schedule courses and manage logistics including classroom setup, participant coordination, and instructor support.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and external training vendors.
- Support SMEs and vendors during course delivery and assist participants with course-related needs.
- Provide detailed operational and logistical support to organizational effectiveness (OE) training functions.
- Analyze course effectiveness through observations and participant feedback; recommend improvements to training programs.
- Develop blended learning solutions using tools such as Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Captivate, Flash, Dreamweaver, Articulate (Presenter, Engage, Quizmaker), SnagIt, web conferencing platforms, or similar applications.
- Prepare, organize, and edit course materials while ensuring compliance with corporate and security standards.
- Promote and advertise training sessions to ensure sufficient course participation.
- Operate classroom and webinar technology to support instructor-led training, virtual sessions, and meetings.
- Identify opportunities to improve training processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on training industry best practices and emerging learning technologies.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, vendors, procurement teams, and cross-functional partners.
- Facilitate collaboration among teams to share knowledge and resolve challenges.
- Provide guidance, training, or mentorship to team members on training processes and procedures when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 7+ years of experience developing and/or delivering training programs.
- Strong ability to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Experience with instructional design tools and learning technologies for developing blended learning solutions.
- Strong organizational, facilitation, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
