We're seeking an experienced *Procurement Analyst* to support purchase order management, indirect procurement, and strategic sourcing initiatives. This role partners closely with Finance, Operations, Legal, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate purchasing, strong supplier relationships, and reliable supply continuity. *Key Responsibilities* *Purchase Order Management* * Review and approve purchase requisitions for accuracy, GL coding, and compliance * Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for indirect goods and services * Monitor open POs and partner with Finance to support periodend close * Track PO lifecycle from issuance through delivery and invoice payment * Resolve discrepancies between POs, receipts, and invoices * Create and manage Blanket Purchase Orders *Indirect Procurement & Inventory* * Manage key indirect categories (e.g., packaging materials, labels, supplies) * Oversee Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs and lead quarterly supplier reviews * Monitor inventory levels and proactively place replenishment orders * Identify and qualify backup suppliers and develop mitigation plans * Analyze supplier performance and drive continuous improvement *Strategic Sourcing & RFPs* * Coordinate RFP/RFQ processes for select products and services * Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and evaluation criteria * Lead proposal evaluations and cost/risk analysis * Support supplier selection and contract negotiations *Supplier & Vendor Management* * Serve as a primary contact for suppliers regarding orders, delivery, and pricing * Support vendor onboarding, documentation, and ERP setup * Maintain accurate vendor records and support compliance requirements *Reporting & Process Improvement* * Generate spend, PO, and supplier performance reports * Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve procurement processes * Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and controls *Qualifications* * 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing with strong PO management experience * Experience supporting indirect procurement; RFP/RFQ exposure preferred * Strong analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills * Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office * Familiarity with ERP systems and contract management tools preferred *Bonus Points* * Experience in regulated environments (pharmacy, healthcare, distribution) * Experience with Oracle Cloud (ERP, EPM, SCM) * Procurement or supply chain certification (CPSM, CSCP) *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
