Job Description

Summary:

The Senior Digital Content & Experience Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing digital content and user experience across multiple brand websites, agent portals, and emerging digital mediums. This role owns enterprise content governance, quarterly audit and refresh cycles, performance measurement, and digital campaign execution to ensure content is accurate, aligned to business priorities, and driving measurable results.

This role also provides UX/UI support to strengthen how content is delivered through user-centric experiences - improving navigation, accessibility, usability, and design consistency. The position collaborates closely with Communications, PR, Social Media, Marketing, IT, designers, developers, analytics partners, and teams supporting enterprise CRM and other cloud-based business applications.

This is a 100% in-office position. Candidates must be able to work on-site at a designated company office during standard business hours.

Essential Responsibilities:

Digital Content Leadership (Primary Focus)

  • Manage a consistent digital user experience across multiple brand websites and agent portals, ensuring content design, usability, and functionality support business goals.
  • Own enterprise content alignment to business priorities, brand standards, and channel objectives across websites, portals, and emerging platforms.
  • Lead quarterly content audits and refresh cycles, partnering with the AI content manager to ensure timely updates and content accuracy.
  • Own website and portal performance measurement, reporting key metrics and driving ongoing optimization through data-informed recommendations.
  • Maintain and optimize the enterprise collateral library, strengthening governance, increasing adoption and engagement, and training new users.
  • Develop and execute high-performing digital campaigns in collaboration with internal creative teams and agency partners to increase engagement and content consumption.
  • Strengthen digital content governance and continuous improvement by setting quality standards, enabling best practices, and promoting testing and experimentation.

UX/UI + Digital Experience Optimization (Secondary Focus)

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand user needs, pain points, and goals across digital experiences tied to content.
  • Conduct lightweight user research and testing (e.g., usability testing, surveys, interviews, competitive analysis, A/B testing) to inform content and experience improvements.
  • Translate insights into recommendations to improve clarity, navigation, accessibility, and overall usability of content experiences.
  • Create wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes for content experiences such as web landing pages, microsites, newsletters, and interactive features.
  • Advocate for usability best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Contribute to design consistency by supporting design systems and UX/UI governance across digital channels.
  • Partner with IT and portal stakeholders to coordinate agent portal enhancements and resolve functionality issues impacting user experience.

Qualifications / Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital communications, content, or related roles with demonstrated success across digital channels.
  • Outstanding editorial skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong technical ability, including experience with content management systems and digital publishing workflows.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate performance data into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, UX, Design, or a related field.
  • Experience developing interactive digital experiences, including multimedia and video.
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Experience with UX/UI tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, or similar.
  • Experience applying Agile methodologies (including SAFe).
  • Insurance and/or financial services industry experience (P&C preferred).
