The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Vice President of Supportive Housing is responsible for furthering our mission of CCH by providing executive leadership, vision and guidance of multi-disciplinary teams providing supportive housing and services to homeless and at-risk families and individuals throughout CCH. This role is a culture steward who sets the tone for how we show up for each other and for the people we serve by modeling curiosity, accountability, equity, and a deep respect for lived experience.
The position will ensure that all CCH housing programs provide consistent, quality and integrated housing and services, and will guide the development and expansion of existing supportive housing services throughout CCH. The position will also ensure integration with and access to health care, community services, and other resources provided by CCH.

Essential Job Functions
    • Works collaboratively with the Organizational Executive Team to lead, develop, manage, and supervise integrated housing supportive services provided by all areas under their direction in accordance with applicable policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors, program funders, and management staff.
    • Hires, trains, and supervises the Directors of Housing Support Services and the Director of Family Support Services.
    • Serves as an active member of the Integrated Health and Supportive Housing Executive Team, Real Estate Executive Team, and Organizational Executive Team to promote and ensure integration with and access to health care, supportive housing, and community services provided by CCH.
    • Serves on various ad hoc committees within CCH as well as external boards and committees to represent and provide leadership regarding issues of homelessness and supportive housing.
    • Works closely with the Vice President of Property Management and the Vice President of Housing Assistance to streamline the housing placement and housing retention processes, identify unmet needs, and enhance communication and collaboration between programs, housing assistance, and property management staff.
    • Oversees the development of robust integrated health services and client programming at all CCH housing locations to include identification of service gaps, creation and implementation of shared integrated care plans, culturally relevant and inclusive community groups and activities, level of care programming, and other promising and evidence-based practices in the provision of supportive housing.
    • Works closely with the Chief Integrated Health Operations Officer and Program Directors to ensure high quality outcomes and standards of care for each program through routine evaluation techniques and activities.
    • Implements quality improvement activities as necessary, providing oversight and follow-up, and develops policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local grant requirements.
    • Works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Program Directors in budget development.
    • Participates in strategic planning and development of trauma-informed, inclusive, and equitable supportive housing services throughout CCH.
    • Oversees supervision provided by Program Directors, fostering a mission-driven culture, providing staff development assistance, and working with Human Resources to swiftly resolve employee relations challenges. Reviews and approves decision-making within programs.
    • Performs other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications Summary
    • Clinical education or Master's degree welcomed.
    • Previous experience managing unionized workforce is desired.
    • 3+ years' experience/expertise in evaluating, developing and sustaining housing, health care or support services programs, integrated approach preferred.
    • Experience working in organizations serving marginalized communities, social justice, healthcare, or human services preferred.
    • Knowledge of local, state, and federal requirements regarding confidentiality, professional relationships, record keeping, and other relevant matters.
    • Demonstrated skills in negotiating and mediating, particularly in sensitive situations.
    • Must be able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with respective stakeholders including finalizing applications to meet submission deadlines.
    • Education and Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in business, social services or other related field required.
    • Minimum 3 years' experience managing multi-million dollar organizational or program budgets.
    • Minimum 3 years' experience supervising a multi-disciplinary management team to drive organizational goals.
    • Minimum 3 years' experience managing multiple housing and/or human services programs simultaneously.
    • Extensive experience leading and developing management teams
    • Demonstrated experience hiring and developing staff, coaching, evaluating performance, setting goals, and measuring success.
    • Valid Colorado driver's license is required.
$126,774 - $158,468 a year
