Low Voltage Cable Installer (Entry to MidLevel) Location: Lenoir, NC Schedule: Mon-Sat, 6AM-5PM * 1st & 2nd Shift * OT & Saturday work may be required Job Description We are seeking motivated Low Voltage Installers to support structured cabling projects in a fastpaced, constructiondriven environment. This role is ideal for individuals who have some handson installation or construction experience and are ready to build longterm skills in low voltage, telecommunications, and structured cabling. You will work alongside technicians to learn industrystandard installation techniques while supporting daytoday project tasks. Key Responsibilities * Pull, dress, route, and label Cat5e/Cat6 cabling according to TIA/EIA standards * Begin RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations with guidance * Assist with labeling, cable identification, and pathway organization * Learn and perform basic punchdowns on telecom blocks * Support cable testing using tools such as Fluke or EXFO under supervision * Gain exposure to fiber handling, routing, and dressing * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment * Take direction from technicians, leads, and supervisors * Follow safety protocols at all times Required Skills * Data Center Engineering & Design * Virtualization (VMware, KVM, HyperV) * Infrastructure Architecture * Storage (SAN/NAS solutions) * Linux (Red Hat, SUSE) & Windows Server * Systems Engineering * Experience with highavailability, missioncritical environments Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenoir, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
