Job Summary The Project Manager Senior is a key leader within the Enterprise Performance Office at Maricopa Community Colleges, overseeing high-impact projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. The Project Manager Senior position partners closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive progress, mitigate risks, and deliver results on time and within scope. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, providing clear and timely status updates, and preparing reports and presentations for leadership. This is an opportunity for a strategic, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering measurable outcomes that strengthen enterprise-wide performance, all while making a meaningful, behind-the-scenes impact on Maricopa students. Essential Functions 45% - Leads, coordinates, and/or provides support to complex, oftentimes system-wide, politically sensitive projects:
25% - Monitors, tracks, and reports on project deliverables:
15% Utilizes change management techniques to ensure successful adoption of project outcomes and/or other system-wide initiatives:
10% - Develops and monitors project budgets and related expenditures:
5% -Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business, program management, or public administration, and four (4) years of project management coordination and experience. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience, as described above, sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
