About This Role
The Mike Wiegers Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (www.ece.ksu.edu) at Kansas State University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the field of power electronics. Applicants should have Ph.D. or equivalent degree in electrical engineering, a strong publication record, passion for research and teaching excellence, and potential to develop a vigorous extramurally-funded research program. About Us The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, as one of the eight departments within the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering, has 19 faculty members and approximately 500 undergraduate and graduate students. The department is located in the new Engineering Hall equipped with the state-of-the-art research laboratories, classrooms, and office spaces. The department has strong research programs in power systems, power electronics, wireless communications, network engineering, and biomedical engineering.
