Job Location: Bethlehem, PA 18018; Hybrid work schedule with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mandatory in office days; training onsite daily first 2-3 weeks

Duration: Leave coverage, 6-month assignment (could be extended)

Join a leader in the medical devices industry, where your skills and experience will be recognized and celebrated. As a Collector I, you play a vital role in managing the company's accounts receivable processes. This position focuses on ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, monitoring customer payments, and reconciling accounts. The Collector I works closely with internal teams and external customers to resolve billing discrepancies and improve cash flow.

Your key responsibilities:

* Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on overdue accounts, and support collection efforts with timely escalation.

* Communicate with customers to request payments, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate records of all interactions and arrangements.

* Apply and reconcile customer payments accurately, ensuring proper posting and investigating discrepancies promptly.

* Prepare collection letters, collaborate with the collections team, and contribute to strategies that improve overall AR performance.

* Produce reports and analysis on aging balances, customer risk categories, and other key AR management metrics.

What you will bring to the team:

* 1- 4 years of experience in AR, billing, distributors, and similar roles.

* Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, AR processes, and proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SAP).

* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and effective communication/interpersonal skills.

* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work collaboratively with a positive, learning-oriented attitude.

* Ability to talk to communicate effectively with clients both over the phone and via e-mail.

Organization: This group is an excellent team who has trust in each other and works well together. Leadership is there to support its employees - not micromanage. Although this is leave coverage, they always look at their contingent worker's first when a new role becomes available, so there is potential room for advancement.
