Position Summary: The Carrier Sales Intern will report to the VP of Sales Operations and directly support our Carrier Sales Leader and Sales team. This role provides hands-on exposure to outbound sales campaigns, funnel reporting, and performance optimization in a high-volume sales organization. This is not a shadowing internship. This role will play an active role in helping the team track campaign performance, improve conversion rates, and refine prospect targeting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in building outbound prospect lists aligned to our Ideal Carrier Profile. Help document campaign objectives and track key performance indicators. Support BDA training preparation (call themes, campaign summaries, updates). Monitor daily outbound activity metrics (calls, conversations, meetings, applications). Track campaign performance vs stated goals. Maintain a daily conversion tracker across key selling stages. Help identify where prospects drop off in the funnel. Flag trends in declining conversion rates. Assist in preparing weekly performance summaries. Help analyze why applications are not converting to signed agreements. Support basic win/loss theme tracking. Track "actual vs goal" qualified lead generation. Assist in identifying small messaging or targeting adjustments. Assist with territory research. Support special carrier initiatives. Help prepare reporting for sales leadership meetings.
Experience & Education
Sophomore standing or above currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Skills & Abilities Required
Analytical & numbers-oriented Comfortable working with Microsoft Office Excel & Google Suite. Detail-oriented and organized. Research and problem-solving ability. Clear written communication. Highly motivated, curious and proactive learner.

Non-Negotiable Logistic Requirements:
Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027 Must be able to work onsite five days per week at our Dallas headquarters; housing assistance is not provided Compensation for this role is $22 per hour. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the internship without current or future employer sponsorship Program dates: June 8 through August 7
