Production Associate Hoist Operator

Hoist Operator- Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Starting Pay $18.10

Firs Shift, 5am - 1pm, overtime on business need and may include weekends.

As Hoist Operator at PPG Cedar Falls Plant, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. You will report to the Production Supervisor. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Key Responsibilities

• The position involves blending, measuring, and producing raw materials to manufacture industrial coatings.
• Prepare materials and product for packaging and shipment to customers.
• You will work in a production environment with the appropriate safety procedures in place.
• Loading/Unloading parts weighting over 40 pounds with hoist.
• Loader/unloader using appropriate tooling will lift part from container using the handle on the hoist hook to minimize smash or laceration injury.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to work any job, and work overtime as needed.
