Job Description and Requirements

This role is part of the Lenovo.com organization focusing on our largest and most critical Enterprise accounts that wish to buy directly from Lenovo digitally. It is one of the largest-scoped, most demanding roles in the eCommerce organization and requires a candidate with strong business acumen combined with customer focus and ability to organize a large number of activities across many of the person's teams. These teams vary from strategy and planning; customer enablement; capability planning; to site operations and issue management. These functions, together, are responsible for building a roadmap and delivering customized websites that allow Lenovo's largest customers to discover and buy directly from Lenovo. Also, this organization will deliver the various eProcurement connection requirements of these large customers, many of which are customized.

The ideal candidate will have: a sales background or deep experience working with sales teams who sell to large customers; an understanding of capabilities roadmap prioritization based on market trends, competitive positioning and customer/sales needs; ROI driven decision making; deep experience with business case creation, stakeholder management and senior level presentations.

This experienced leader will have strength in understanding a large scale platform of capabilities and a vision for continuous improvement and how to get there. S/he will communicate clearly the long and short term vision to the team and how each of their pieces fits into delivering the overall solution. S/he will provide leadership to the teams reporting to her/him to achieve consistent professional planning deliverables along with effective communication with stakeholders. S/he will also manage a team responsible for site operations and critical customer escalations.

The right candidate will have a passion and curiosity about customer behavior, industry best practices, technology trends and usage (including AI) in optimizing solutions. S/he will have the ability to pivot between the needs of various teams: strategy and planning; customer enablement teams who interface with sales to create customized, contract-driven sites; operations teams; capability teams. This person will also work with external teams such as IT, Digital Transformation and the broader Lenovo Sales organization.

  • Ability to recognize business needs,develop plans, build consensus, and execute in a highly matrixed global environment.

  • Experience running a $1BN plus organization with proven results.

  • An optimist, comfortable with ambiguity, passionate about helping shape the future for the best through constant improvement and willing to take risks.

  • Expertise in using web analytics and KPI setting to demonstrate business results.

  • Superb conceptual thinking and problem-solving at all levels, ability to execute a plan with high attention to detail and desire to drive that plan through to completion.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create strategy and plan for Enterprise Pro and build supporting roadmap. Examine priority pain points and organize further definition to clarify what key features are needed to close process and customer experience gaps.

  • Ensure proper business case creation for all investments and socialize in broader organization to secure funding.

  • Collaborate concerning priorities and resources needed at executive level.

  • Evaluate project plans and progress toward timely completion. Responsible for driving corrective actions or priorities.

  • Optimize online customer self-service for Lenovo's largest customers and ensure related internal sales, order management, and service delivery process efficiencies. Continuously improve customer experience to increase satisfaction.

  • Collaborate on AI and automation initiatives: Partner with business units and IT teams to explore how AI and automation can be applied to optimize customer tasks, sales support processes, and user outcomes.

  • Collaborate with Lenovo's customer and product groups (Intelligent Devices, Infrastructure Solutions and Solutions and Services Group) and with stakeholders across Sales Operations, Digital Transformation, and IT to align on solutions.

  • Ensure site operations and critical customer escalations are handled effectively and quickly.

  • Understand and deliver solutions and training required to enable usage of Enterprise Pro by sales teams.

  • Lead and manage a high-performing global team to deliver results to our customers while championing a working environment that embodies We Are Lenovo cultural values.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Operations, Marketing, or a related field (master's degree a plus)

  • 15+ years in B2B sales, sales enablement, digital transformation, or related roles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record and demonstrated success running a large, multi-faceted global business and team.

  • Direct experience with e-commerce platforms.

  • Direct or indirect large account sales experience with proven ability to analyze sales processes and data to drive meaningful improvements.

  • Feature/function roadmap prioritization based on market trends, competitive positioning and customer/sales needs.

  • ROI driven decision making; deep experience with business case creation.

  • Stakeholder management and senior level presentations.

  • Track record of managing cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with diverse teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify opportunities, and drive improvements with minimal direction.

  • Curious and adaptable, thriving in an environment with many opportunities.
