| Backfill - Analysis Technician (2nd Shift)2nd shift Orientation 3.00pmJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Analysis Technician to join our dedicated team for the 1st shift. Based at our state-of-the-art facility, you'll be responsible for board-level analysis of failed 2-way subscriber products (both mobile and portable 2-way radios). This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic assemblies to identify the root causes of failures.Job Specifications:Job Type: Full-timeCompany: Motorola solutionsLocation: Elgin, ILDuration: Immediate start, duration through the end of the year (possible extensions based on performances and needs of the business).Pay Rate: $26/hr - Supplier should calculate and submit at a favorable mark-up. A "favorable" markup doesn't always mean the highest possible markup.Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 am - 2:15 pm)2nd shift (2.45pm - 11pm)Interview Type: 30-minute interview, virtual via Google Meet or Onsite (candidate's preference to be listed in resume/comments).Safety Sensitive - Yes, Able to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted and up to 50+ lbs. in a team lift.Additional RequirementsOrientation starts at 6:30 am.Temporary badge needed. PMO team will add to DSM, GL, and KL.Roles and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze rejected electronic assemblies using various test equipment, simulators, and troubleshooting skills.Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems, define corrective actions, and communicate findings effectively.Identify vendor vs. process defects and write detailed failure analysis reports.Record data of failures and explain diagnoses clearly.Work independently and adapt to varying conditions.Support factory operations on weekends when required.Qualifications & SkillsAssociate's Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology required (Bachelor's preferred).Proficiency in operating/setup of electronics equipment (signal generator, modulation/audio analyzers, spectrum analyzer, power meter, oscilloscopes, etc.).RF knowledge and 1-3 years of related experience.Ability to read and interpret schematics for component-level troubleshooting is a PLUS.Extensive knowledge of 2-way subscriber products is a PLUS.Strong electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills required.100% onsite presence required.Steel toe boots are mandatory.Additional RequirementsOrientation starts at 6:30 am.Temporary badge provided.
