Boston Medical Center - Brighton, a member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking aBoard Certified/Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologistwith expertise inheart failure and advanced echocardiographyto join our growing cardiovascular services program. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys combining outpatient and inpatient heart failure management with a strong focus on echocardiography.

Position Highlights


  • Focus on Advancedfailure management and echocardiography
  • Mix ofinpatient consultative cardiology/heart failure care and outpatient cardiology clinics
  • Interpretation and performance oftransthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography
  • Participation in development and growth of heart failure services at BMC-Brighton
  • Participation in satellite advanced heart failure clinics
  • Participate in transplant cardiology rotation at New England Medical Center
  • Collaborative, collegial cardiology team with access to advanced services within the BMC Health System
  • Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students, as applicable

Responsibilities


  • Provide comprehensivecardiology and heart failure careto hospitalized and ambulatory patients
  • Perform and interpretechocardiographic studies, including TTE and TEE
  • Participate in inpatient cardiology consult service and heart failure management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, intensivists, primary care, and specialty services
  • Contribute to quality improvement, clinical pathway development, and program growth in heart failure and imaging
  • Participate in call rotation as part of the cardiology group

Qualifications


  • MD or DO with completion ofCardiovascular Disease fellowship
  • Completion of subspecialty certification inHeart Failure

  • Board Certified or Board Eligiblein Cardiovascular Disease
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Echocardiography
  • Board Certified of Eligible in Heart Failure
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and clinical excellence

The base salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to clinical FTE, qualifications, experience, education, board certifications, specialty, training, and scope of practice. The above hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Any eligible incentive compensation is not included in the above compensation range and will be discussed during the interview process.
