Under general direction of the Chief Information and Digital Strategy Executive (CIDSE), provides principal administrative support to the Office. Independently handle inquiries and complaints, make referrals, and brief individuals on matters requiring their attention. Manage calendars, coordinate and schedule meetings, for individuals in the Office. Research and provide relevant information and materials prior to meetings. Responsible for proofreading and finalizing documents prepared by attorneys, preparing summaries/data for presentations, and taking meeting minutes whenever necessary.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Professional experience providing administrative and clerical support to high level executives for 3+ years
- Experience managing electronic calendars, and scheduling and coordinating large, complex meetings, online seminars and special events.
- Writing, editing, and proofreading experience to produce correspondence and other written materials that reflect the high standards and professionalism of an executive office including editing copy for correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Professional experience and political acumen to handle sensitive or difficult situations diplomatically; to represent high-level executives with tact and discretion; and to work effectively and sensitively with constituents from diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives.
- Experience working in an environment that requires interpersonal and communication skills to create and maintain professional collaborative working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in higher education.
- Ability to manage projects and track complex action items across multiple stakeholders, ensuring deadlines, commitments, and followup actions are monitored and completed.
- Skill in managing stakeholder relationships, tracking interactions, and preparing briefings supporting executive engagement.

The Information and Digital Strategy Office is responsible for strategic guidance, coordination, and advisory functions for information technology (IT) across UC Davis and UC Davis Health. This office is charged with developing and guiding a comprehensive, forward-thinking IT strategy that aligns with the mission, goals, and priorities of both the university and the health system. Work Environment
