This is a non-rotating, straight 8-hour shift position with a normal schedule of M-F, but some weekends may be required.

Safety

The operator follows prescribed safety procedures (Ref. SHMS 004).

Responsibilities

INSPECT AND LABEL ALL PACKAGES ON VERDOL DOFF TRUCK.

1.1 ASIDE ALL DEFECTIVE PACKAGES ONTO BAD WORKS TRUCK.

1.2 ALL LABELS MUST CONTAIN PACKER INITIALS, DATE, YARN CODE, LOT NUMBER,

AND SHIFT.

USING MEASUREMENT TOOL, DETERMINE PACKAGE SIZE TO INSURE ONLY THE CORRECT SIZE PACKAGES GO THROUGH THE ROBOTICS SYSTEM.
CUT TAIL SAMPLES OFF ALL 72 PACKAGES.

3.1 BUNDLE TAILS TOGETHER AND ATTACH TO LINEN TAG. (Ref. T46292)

3.1.1 RECORD YARN CODE, LOT NUMBER, NUMBER OF TAILS, AND PACKER

INITIALS ON LINEN TAG. (Ref. T46292)

ROBOTIC TECHNICIAN LOADS THE YARN ON ROBOT CONVEYOR TO BE STRETCHED WRAPPED.
PACKAGES THAT ARE TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL MUST BE PACKED OUT IN BOXES.

5.1 A DYE TAIL SAMPLE MUST BE CUT FROM EACH PACKAGE BEING PACKED INTO

THE BOX.

ATTACH LINEN TAG (Ref. T46292) TO DYE TAILS WITH PACKER INITIALS, YARN CODE, AND LOT NUMBER RECORDED ON TAG.
