Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Recycling Manager to lead and expand our recycling initiatives across North America. This role will focus on optimizing material recovery from manufacturing plants, salvage yards, and vehicle auctions, while identifying future raw material risks and opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in recycling operations, automotive industry knowledge, and raw material valuation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement recycling strategies aligned with Stellantis Circular Economy goals.
• Collaborate with manufacturing plants to manage and optimize scrap material recovery.
• Build and maintain relationships with recyclers, dismantlers, and salvage yards across North America.
• Analyze raw material chemistry and market value to guide strategic sourcing and recycling decisions.
• Identify materials at risk of future scarcity and develop plans to secure sustainable supply.
• Support vehicle dismantling and auction processes to maximize material recovery and reuse.
• Monitor regulatory trends and industry best practices in recycling and sustainability.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, procurement, and sustainability teams.
• Manage and mentor a team of recycling specialists and analysts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Set clear objectives, provide performance feedback, and support professional development of team members.
• Coordinate team efforts across multiple sites and stakeholders, ensuring timely execution of recycling initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Materials Engineering, Chemistry.
• 5+ years of experience in recycling operations, preferably within the automotive or industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of automotive business models, supply chains, and manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in raw material chemistry, valuation, and market dynamics.
• Proven experience working with plant scrap management and recyclers in North America.
• Knowledge of salvage yard operations, vehicle dismantling, and auction processes is preferred.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to forecast material scarcity and develop mitigation plans.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and project management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in business development or related field.
