Role Overview

Kodak is looking for a Manufacturing Production Operator to join the Finishing Organization in Kodak's Advanced Materials and Chemicals Division in Rochester, NY. In this position you will work in a great environment with a bright future. As a Manufacturing Production Operator you will be working with a small Film Storage Team responsible for wrapping film rolls, maintaining and inspecting film boxes, film-cores and carriers, and transporting pallets of material and finished product within the building.

AS A MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION OPERATOR YOU WILL:

* Complete all required Operator training programs
* Transport incoming and outgoing film boxes throughout the facility
* Inspect and maintain the quality of film boxes, roll cores, and carriers to meet production standards
* Conveyance of incoming and outgoing pallets of raw materials and finished products
* Periodically work in dark room environment, wrapping large film rolls with accuracy and safety
* Rotate through various jobs as needed within the Film Storage Team
* Collaborate closely with Finishing staff and the Operations Team to ensure smooth and timely production processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

* Prior manufacturing or material-handling experience is a plus
* Previous Fork Truck driving experience preferred
* Medical clearance for Fork Truck License will be required
* Capable of multi-tasking
* Must be able to work in a dark room environment
* Some knowledge of SAP and computer skills desired
* Willing and able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds
* Ability to operate power drills, some hand tools
* Must be a motivated, hands-on, self-starter
* Must be a Team Player

Minimum Education: High School Education

Schedule: 6am - 2:30pm M-F
