Join Our Team as a Leasing Specialist at our Gorman Homes Location in Milwaukee, WI!

At Gorman & Company, we're committed to making a difference through affordable housing. Gorman Homes consists of 456 units located throughout Downtown Milwaukee and North Side neighborhoods such as Sherman Park and Washington Park. Our community offers a mix of single-family homes, duplexes, and one- and two-bedroom apartments, all operating within the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.

We're looking for a relationship-driven Leasing Specialist who enjoys working closely with prospective residents and creating positive experiences. In this role, you'll balance organization and efficiency with genuine customer care, helping individuals and families secure housing they're proud of.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, delivering exceptional customer service.

• Conduct community tours and guide prospects through the leasing and application process.

• Prepare leases, applications, and resident documentation in accordance with LIHTC requirements.

• Complete follow-up communication with prospects and support resident retention efforts.

• Provide administrative support including filing, record maintenance, and service request coordination.

• Assist with compliance interviews and coordinate documentation with the Compliance team.

• Support outreach marketing, resident communications, and move-in/move-out processes.

What You'll Bring:

• Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience required.

• LIHTC experience preferred.

• Experience with RealPage / OneSite property management software preferred.

• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

• Professional phone etiquette and communication skills.

• Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accurate records and filing systems.

• Valid Driver's License with acceptable MVR; occasional driving for work may be required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary starting at $19-$24/hour, depending on experience

• Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
