Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Operating Company: Environmental Solutions Group - Equipment Division

Location: Fort Payne, AL

Reports To: Equipment Finance Director

Department: Accounting

POSITION SUMMARY:

Environmental Solutions Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Fort Payne, Alabama. This role will serve as a key member of the Equipment Finance and be responsible for several key processes within the financial planning and analysis function.

This role will be a key team member in driving improvements in reporting, financial analysis, and forecasting. Specifically, the person will be responsible for analyzing, summarizing, producing, and consolidating financial and accounting reports. Also, the person will provide operational variance analysis, inventory and costing analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and have month-end responsibilities. This position will support the Equipment Division including Heil and Marathon manufacturing companies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Support and drive analysis for monthly and quarterly rolling financial forecasting and the annual operating plan for all business units and consolidated.
  • Enhance the processes and tools used to deliver management reporting to provide relevant, timely financial information to support decision-making, aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Continually enhance the use of business intelligence, budgeting, and reporting tools so that relevant financial information is delivered efficiently throughout the organization.
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures, and other relevant areas.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities for improved operations of the Finance Team.
  • Provide financial support and training for business partners such as Sales, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Ad-hoc reporting, analysis, special projects and presentations.
  • This role requires less than 5% travel.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
  • Relevant experience in a professional finance/business environment (0 to 4 years; strong internship experience will be considered).
