Emergency Medicine, MGB- Salem Hospital Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician (Full-Time) Location: Salem Hospital - A member of Mass General Brigham Department: Emergency Medicine Position Overview Salem Hospital is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice high-quality emergency medicine within a nationally recognized healthcare system while enjoying the benefits of a collegial community hospital environment. What You'll Do Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients across the lifespan in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting. Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in collaboration with advanced practice providers, nurses, specialists, and multidisciplinary care teams. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of emergent and urgent medical conditions. Perform emergency procedures consistent with scope of practice and training. Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical innovation initiatives. Contribute to departmental operations, including throughput optimization and evidence-based protocol development. Engage in teaching and mentoring opportunities for medical students and residents as applicable. Foster a culture of respect, teamwork, equity, and inclusion within the department. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM). Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
