Senior Regulatory Affairs Project Manager

Hybrid: 3 days a week (Needs to be in office full-time until fully trained possibly a month)
Pay : $55.00 - $60.71 per hour
Job Summary
The Senior Regulatory Affairs Project Manager is responsible for managing and supporting regulatory filings, requests for information (RFIs), and compliance documentation within the assigned jurisdiction. This role ensures timely, accurate, and professional delivery of regulatory data, coordinates project timelines, and provides analytical and project management support to the Regulatory Affairs organization and other business functions as needed. The position requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is a 6-month hybrid assignment, with an initial period of full-time in-office training. Job Responsibilities
Support regulatory filings to meet objectives of internal clients, including Operating Companies, System Energy, and corporate functions
Draft and coordinate responses to RFIs in a timely manner
Develop and manage comprehensive regulatory filings and supporting documentation
Serve as project manager for regulatory filings, overseeing the process from initial submission through post-filing review and compliance
Establish and maintain project schedules to ensure deadlines are met using available company resources
Provide expert written and oral testimony and support discovery as required for regulatory filings
Escalate key issues and decisions to appropriate leadership in a timely manner
Facilitate documentation and maintenance of regulatory filing processes to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance
Assist in staff training and development, ensuring cross-training and understanding of regulatory filing processes
Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Communicate proactively with leadership, management, and internal stakeholders regarding filing plans, objectives, assumptions, and project deliverables
Travel (<25%) to Operating Company headquarters as needed to meet with regulatory affairs and legal counsel teams
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in the electric utility industry
Demonstrated leadership, judgment, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Strong planning, organizational, and strategic thinking skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Work Experience
5+ years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs or electric utility operations
Experience managing complex projects, regulatory filings, or compliance processes
