Compensation Range:23.00-24.00 hourly Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location. Job Purpose EnerSys, a NYSE-listed company, is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual for a Communications Intern position for the summer of 2025. This paid 10-12-week internship offers hands-on experience in a corporate sales environment, where you will gain exposure to sales strategies, customer engagement, business development, market research, and sales operations. As a Communications Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with experienced sales professionals, and develop essential skills to thrive in a competitive business landscape. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the sales team with current projects and initiatives. Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities. Assist in lead generation, prospect outreach, and customer relationship management. Analyze sales data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making. Participate in sales calls, meetings, and presentations to gain hands-on experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales and marketing efforts. Assist in the preparation of sales materials, proposals, and presentations. Qualifications Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program (Business, Marketing, Sales, Electrical Engineering preferred). Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Demonstrated ability to think independently, manage relationships, and pay attention to detail. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools (preferred). A solid academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Availability to work on-site for 10-12 weeks at Bellingham, WA office.
