Are you ready to make your mark? The Manager of Financial Shared Services serves as a leader and drives strategic direction for the Americas shared services model. This position reports to the Director of Accounting and interacts/coordinates closely with Vice President Global Tax, Director Internal Audit, VP & Corporate Controller group and our business partners in providing services and processes that are beneficial to the organization. The Manager will collaborate with appropriate stakeholders in the performance, measurement and improvement of the shared services functions and processes. The Shared Services Manager provides regional leadership for the Shared Services Center. Key Responsibilities:
Managing Financial Operations: The Manager of Financial Shared Services is responsible for overseeing the entire Shared Services function, providing leadership, managing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and travel and expense management. Recruit, manage and develop the shared service function staff. Develop and maintain operational work instructions. Process Improvement: The Manager of Financial Shared Services is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve financial processes across the organization; reducing costs; and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness and improve overall performance. Compliance and Risk Management: The Financial Shared Services Manager is responsible for ensuring that financial processes are compliant with all financial regulations; regulatory requirements; laws and internal policies. This includes managing internal and external audits; adherence to accounting standards; SOX controls, US GAAP and implementing controls to mitigate financial risks. Standardization and Metrics: The Manager of Financial Shared Services will establish metrics and implement best practices, standardization and benchmarking of processes and related activities to achieve greater efficiencies and cost saving opportunities within each Shared Service function. Contribute to the global standardization of processes and procedures by participating in identifying and establishing consistent best practices Customer Service: The Manager of Financial Shared Services is responsible for providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Managing to KPI's and SLA agreements. This includes responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, handling any escalated issues or complaints, and resolving them in a timely and professional manner.

Leadership: The ability to lead and manage a team of finance professionals and developing team resources by providing guidance, direction and support, as well as upskilling team members and holding underperforming members accountable to performance expectations. Financial Reporting: The ability to prepare and analyze shared services functional and financial reporting, manage to the shared services expense budget and headcount and compare results against forecast and budget. Process Improvement: The ability to identify opportunities to improve financial processes; systems and software and reduce costs. Collaborate with others inside and outside of the shared services organization to implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Project Management: The ability to manage projects from justification, presentation to upper management for approval, execution to closure. This includes planning, execution, and monitoring of team members and progress. Compliance and Risk Management: The ability to ensure that financial processes are compliant with all financial regulations, regulatory requirements, laws and internal policies. This includes managing internal and external audits; adherence to accounting standards and implementing controls to mitigate financial risks. Customer Service: The ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. This includes responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, handling any escalated issues or complaints, and resolving them in a timely and professional manner. Communication: The ability to communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including auditors, vendors and other financial professionals and be able to present financial reports and data in a clear and concise manner. Strategic thinking: The ability to set strategy and direction of the shared services department. This includes setting goals and objectives, KPI's and developing a plan to achieve those goals. They work with senior management to align the shared services strategy with the overall business strategy of the organization. Technology Skills: The ability to use technology tools and software to manage financial data, track payments and receipts, and communicate with stakeholders. The ability to identify the limitations of technology and identify areas to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Collaboration: The ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues across different departments and functions to achieve shared goals and objectives.
