| Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Business Assistant II for the School of Social Work. This position, reporting to the Assistant Director of Business Services, will be responsible for providing administrative support to the School of Social Work, its Business Services team, and the Dean's Office.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Supports transactional processing in HR and procurement systems.
- Supports and coordinates special projects.
- Serves as a key point of contact for SSW's access management process.
- Prepares and submits HR transactions and payroll adjustments,
- Prepares procurement requests.
- Works on special projects for the Dean's Office or other SSW departments.
- Prepares agendas and presentation materials as needed.
- Tracks key deliverables and deadlines
- Facilitates communication among internal departments and external partners.
- Provides general office and administrative support, including scheduling, communications. and recordkeeping as needed.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree, and at least two (2) years of administrative support/programmatic experience OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience with demonstrated competency in the required skills.

- At least two years of administrative support experience, preferably in an academic environment.
- Experience with Rutgers systems (e.g., HCM, ROCS, Marketplace).
- Prior experience supporting senior leadership or academic administration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
