We're seeking a Senior Workday Integration Developer to join our People Experience (PX) technology team and play a key role in shaping the future of our PX technology ecosystem.

This role will be fully onsite from our offices in either Newport Beach, CA, Omaha, NE or Charlotte, NC.

As a senior member of the IT PX Technology Team, you'll provide technical hands-on development on Pacific Life people experience technologies and platforms, primarily across the design, implementation, and evolution of Workday integrations powering our global PX platforms. You'll act as a trusted technical authority-partnering with product owners, PX stakeholders, architects, and vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and wellgoverned solutions.

This role is ideal for a seasoned integration professional who enjoys solving complex enterprise challenges, influencing architectural decisions, and mentoring others while still remaining handson where it matters. Technology implementation experience and process transformation with HR domain and companies is a plus.

How you'll help move us forward:

• Provide technical implementation and architectural guidance for Workday integrations across internal and thirdparty systems
• Lead the endtoend integration lifecycle, from solution design and standards definition through deployment and production support
• Design, develop, and optimize integrations using Workday Studio, cloud connectors, EIBs/iLoads, and Payroll integrations (PECI)
• Drive integration patterns leveraging REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and middleware platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and security
• Establish and maintain integration standards, technical documentation, and best practices across the PX portfolio.
• Partner closely with PX, IT, Security, and external vendors to deliver complex, crossfunctional initiatives
• Lead and support PX system release cycles, including integration testing, cutover, and postimplementation stabilization
• Proactively monitor integrations, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously improve operational resiliency
• Mentor and guide other developers-elevating overall team capability and technical maturity
• Stay current on emerging integration trends, including cloud platforms, APIs, and AI/LLMenabled solutions
• Strong ability to perform root cause analysis and effectively manage and resolve incidents.

The experience you bring:

• 7-10+ years of experience delivering enterprise integrations within the Workday ecosystem
• Advanced expertise with Workday Studio (required), cloud connectors, EIBs, and payroll integrations
• Strong command of XSLT/XML and complex Workday reporting (custom reports, calculated fields, object models, BIRT)
• Demonstrated success translating business requirements into scalable, sustainable integration designs
• Solid understanding of global PX processes and enterprise PX technology landscapes
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and modern integration patterns
• Knowledge of security and identity concepts such as OAuth, SAML, and secure data exchange
• Proficiency or strong working knowledge of SQL, Java, Python, and JavaScript
• Experience contributing to or influencing enterprise system architecture decisions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Selfdirected, disciplined, and comfortable operating with a high level of ownership

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
