Johnson County's District Attorney Office is looking for a qualified applicant to fill the position of Juvenile Diversion Officer. The position is located at the Youth and Family Services Center, 920 W Spruce, Olathe, KS 66061. This is a grant-funded position, and employment is contingent upon funding. The term of the grant is from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027. First review of applications is March 17, 2026. Job Description
Completes intakes to include interviewing juveniles and parents, completing a risk to re-offend assessment screening(YLS-SRV), and reviewing collateral information on all Immediate Intervention Program clients.
Job Requirements Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field; one (1) year criminal justice or related experience; successfully passa criminal history check; and possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Applicant must submit toand pass a pre-employment, post-offer drug screen prior to employment. Experience may be substituted for education. | |||||||||||||||||
