Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Transportation Office Support to join our Transportation team.

  • Provide information and services to drivers, distributors and other departments.
  • Perform office duties such as: data entry, typing, filing, record-keeping and answering the phone.
  • Review and verify driver payroll for accuracy; make necessary adjustments or corrections through established procedures. Sent to Corporate Payroll each week.
  • Review and enter driver delay time.
  • Enter driver PTO time and leaves of absence.
  • Review, verify and correct driver Built Time every week.
  • Review, verify and correct driver per diem every period, sent to Corporate Payroll.
  • Participate in scheduled payroll audits to ensure error-free processing/operations.
  • Order and distribute driver uniforms.
  • Cross-train, and fill in for scheduling to cover time off.
  • Cover dispatch occasionally.
  • Learn and use MyDispatch.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and/or resource to others in matters relating to payroll.
  • Maintain strictest confidence in every aspect of this position.
  • Perform all other job related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to work on multiple tasks and complete them satisfactorily
  • Ability to deal professionally with customers, drivers, and suppliers
  • Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm in stressful or confrontational situations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Previous data entry experience
  • Thorough and attentive to details

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of transportation operations
  • Knowledge of shipping procedures
  • Previous clerical or administrative experience
  • Microsoft Office Word and Excel experience
