Support the Management of the Treasury Management sales team and the overall growth of the Treasury Management portfolio. Provide Treasury Management product, process, pricing and sales consultation to the Director of Commercial Deposits. Provide sales leadership and at times direct sales consultation to complex Treasury Management Customers.



JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Make product and process recommendations to Director of Commercial Deposits based upon experience and current customer feedback along with industry trends.
  • Offer support to Director of Commercial Deposits and directed. Duties may include, but not limited to KPI reporting, pricing consultation, industry trend analysis and launching new solutions.
  • Manage portfolio of Treasury Management clients with retention and growth goals.
  • Grow self-sourced Treasury Management portfolio by identifying new clients through outside calling efforts
  • Develop business through regular meetings with Relationship Managers of accounts assigned to Treasury Management portfolio.
  • Identify deficiencies and make recommendations for product profitability, customer service and other operational improvements when appropriate.
  • Work on Special Projects as assigned that will enhance the sales and implementation process at Firstrust.
  • Responsible for treasury-solutions sales process to complex new prospective customers (pro formas, RFPs, quality, professional client presentations). Prepare all paperwork associated with establishing services and coordinate all product training
  • Support Director of Commercial Deposits in providing appropriate training for all appropriate bank employees including the commercial banking, commercial real estate, business banking and branch departments.
  • As needed and in time of capacity restraints amongst the sales team, uses a consultative sales approach to assess customer needs and make product recommendations based upon those needs
  • As needed, proactively reach out to existing customers in an effort to uncover additional needs and cross-sell new services
  • Develop Business through consistent networking activities such as Chambers of Commerce, Non-for-Profit Boards, etc
  • Frequent CRM data logging
  • Utilize all systems (SharePoint, CRM System, EchoSign, Mainframe, Outlook, Excel)
  • Work on various projects as required
  • Reports to Director of Commercial Deposits



PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:



  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • The employee will be expressing, receiving, and exchanging ideas via a multi-phone system.
  • The employee must be able to prepare and analyze figures.
  • Occasionally, the employee will be both inside and outside environmental conditions.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred
  • Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven customer service and problem resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated teamwork experience required.
