The Office of the CIO is the strategic enablement function for the enterprise IT organization. The team operationalizes IT strategy through structured planning, portfolio governance, enterprise architecture alignment, and transformation program support to drive disciplined execution and value delivery.

With AI as a primary focus of IT, the Office of the CIO supports enterprise AI and Data initiatives by providing operating model alignment, value tracking, and cross-functional coordination. The team ensures technology and AI investments are aligned to business priorities, executed with transparency, and measured against defined outcomes to deliver measurable business impact.

What You Can Expect

As a Business Operations Analyst in the CIO Office, you will work closely with the IT Chief of Staff and CIO senior staff at Marvell to support financial management, strategic reporting, and executive-level decision-making across the IT organization. Reporting to the CIO Chief of Staff, you will deliver high-impact insights and actions that directly influence critical business outcomes while helping sustain and build momentum within the CIO Office. This role offers the opportunity to operate at the center of Marvell Technology's fast-paced, cutting-edge IT organization, playing a meaningful part in the company's AI transformation and long-term growth strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ongoing financial analysis
  • Partnering directly with FP&A to track budgets, forecasts, and actuals on a regular cadence
  • Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to inform leadership decisions
  • Preparation and delivery of executive-ready presentations and materials for senior IT and enterprise leadership, ensuring insights are clear, accurate, and impactful.

In this role, you will also assist in the development and maintenance of core CIO reporting, including operational and financial metrics, dashboards, and performance indicators that measure progress against strategic objectives.

This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to synthesize complex information, and comfort working directly with senior stakeholders across IT, Finance, and with the various business units.

This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of finance, technology, and strategy, contributing to initiatives that are central to advancing Marvell Technology's IT capabilities and long-term vision.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Arts or related fields and 3-5 years of related professional experience. OR Master's degree and/or PhD, in Business, Science, Arts or related fields with 2-3 years of experience. MBA Preferred.

  • 2+ years in a consulting roles, preferrably in a big 4 consulting environment

  • Strong financial and analytical acumen.

  • Advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership

  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing multiple priorities with attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level analyses, presentations, and recommendations

  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and adaptability, with an interest in working at the intersection of finance, technology, and strategic execution

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

98,970 - 148,300, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
