Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, document observations, and respond to needs with professionalism and customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial chemical and/or petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and perimeter fencing; document observations and report conditions that may require attention.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitors and contractors to proper check-in locations, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery logs per site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, unusual activity, and service calls; notify site contacts and/or public responders as required.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate status updates to supervision and site contacts, and support security-related inspections such as checking doors, gates, lighting, and posted signage for irregularities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
