Job Description




As a Security Officer - Weekend TWIC Patrol in Benicia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support site access and incident reporting while delivering helpful customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at a petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, tank farm and/or pipeline corridors, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, watching for unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, directing traffic flow, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries per site requirements.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident notes, and shift handoffs, and assist with drills, muster support, and coordination with site response teams as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
