Pay:



  • Annual salary of $53,500


The Program Manager will directly supervise Program Coordinators in assigned geographic area, including training, staff development and goal attainment. This position is also responsible for the overall management of companion services volunteer and client assignments in assigned geographic area. The responsibilities include publicizing the programs, recruiting, training and placing volunteers and clients with partner agencies, assuring compliance with program regulations and managing relationships with partner sites and multiple stakeholders in the community. The responsibilities also include directly managing clients and volunteer/client matches where no partner agency is available to do so. This position is also responsible for the provision of direct client services, including Community Companion and similar services, under the supervision of a certified staff member.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Human Services or equivalent experience of 5 years is required.
  • Management and staff development experience required.
  • Knowledge of practices, policies, and procedures related to older adult services required.
  • Knowledge of practices, procedures, and policies for billing waiver services with MN DHS helpful.
  • Ability to represent and market LSS in all communities in an effort to recruit partner sites, volunteers and clients, garner referrals, promote and expand interest, and build positive relationships.
  • Strong interest in multi-culturalism; understanding of diversity and a variety of backgrounds.
  • Strong computer and phone skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
