EyeOptics Optometry Center is a trusted and well-established practice, providing comprehensive eye care services to the Elk Grove community. The practice is currently seeking a full-time Optometrist to join their dedicated team and help continue providing exceptional patient care. Serving the Elk Grove community since 1981, the practice offers a wide range of services, including eye health exams, vision correction, and specialized treatments such as myopia control, Lasik and refractive surgery co-management, and dry eye management. With a strong focus on patient education and preventative care, the dedicated team ensures that every patient receives a comprehensive and caring experience. What you'll do: As a member of the EyeOptics Optometric team, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals committed to helping individuals achieve their best vision. You'll perform eye exams and surgical co-management, diagnose and assist in treating ocular diseases, prescribe corrective lenses, prescription dispensing, handle eye emergencies, and promote healthy vision through patient education. You'll have access to advanced diagnostic technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. You will work alongside a team of 20 skilled professionals and treat up to 22 patients daily. Your proficiency in various facets of optometry will be integral to delivering efficient and comprehensive care to special populations. Your enthusiasm to contribute to the practice's distinguished reputation and preserve its legacy is greatly valued. You consistently stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and lens technologies to ensure patients are aware of the visual solutions that will meet their individual needs. The ideal candidate will have experience with vision therapy and ocular diseases and treatments. This position is open to both experienced professionals and recent graduates. Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
